Start or cancel a subscription
Everything subscription-related (start, change plan, cancel, withdraw) is done in the app under Account.

Open a risk assessment and click the export button. PDF is board-ready. CSV shipped in V1.1 (June 2026).

Go to Account → Delete account. All data is deleted within 30 days per our privacy policy.

Exercise the 14-day right of withdrawal
In the first 14 days after your first paid period you can withdraw directly in the app via the Account page. Proportional refund happens automatically via Stripe.

Subscriptions purchased through the App Store are managed in Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.

About RiskNote
RiskNote is an AI-powered risk management platform for small and mid-sized organisations, consultants, and project managers. The app implements the ISO 31000 process: identify risks, analyse likelihood and consequence in a 5x5 matrix, evaluate, treat, and monitor.
The service is operated by VER&IT AB, a Swedish limited company based in Vänersborg. All data is stored in Stockholm on ISO 27001-certified infrastructure (Elastx). The app is available as a web application, iOS app, and Android app with full feature parity.
Frequently asked questions
How do I start a free trial?
Register an account at risknote.io or in the mobile app. You get a 7-day free trial with no credit card on the web. After the trial you move to the free plan (read-only access to your analyses). To keep creating and editing, upgrade to Starter, Pro, or Business.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Web subscriptions: sign in, go to Account → Cancel subscription. Access continues until the end of the paid period. iOS subscriptions: iPhone → Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions. Android subscriptions: Play Store → Profile picture → Payments and subscriptions.
How do I exercise my 14-day right of withdrawal?
EU/EEA consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the first paid period. Go to Account → “Cancel and request refund” in the app. A proportional refund for unused days is made automatically via Stripe (for web subscriptions). App Store and Google Play subscriptions follow the platform's own refund policies.
How do I export my risk assessments?
Open an assessment and click the export button. PDF export (board-ready, with risk matrix, register, and AI labeling per EU AI Act) is included on all paid plans. CSV export shipped in V1.1 (June 2026). JSON export is available on request, email support@risknote.io.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account → Delete account. You confirm deletion with your password. Data is removed within 30 days per our privacy policy. If you use SSO (Google/Microsoft/Apple), the same page detaches and deletes.
Where is my data stored?
With Elastx in Stockholm, on ISO 27001-certified infrastructure. No data leaves the EU/EEA. We never use your data to train AI models. Full details in our privacy policy: risknote.io/privacy.
How does the AI analysis work and what is sent to the AI provider?
When you click “Analyse risks” we send the assessment's name, description, and risk areas together with organisation context (industry, size, role, goals, challenges) to Anthropic (Claude). We never send email addresses, names, IP addresses, billing data, authentication tokens, or data from other users' accounts. AI suggestions are advisory, you must always explicitly accept each one. All AI-generated output is labeled per EU AI Act Art. 50.
Does RiskNote AI automatically approve risks or decisions?
No. RiskNote is a decision-support tool. AI suggests risks; you review, edit, and accept each one. No automated decisions under GDPR Art. 22. No AI suggestion is added to your risk register without your active approval.
Which languages are supported?
RiskNote is available in 11 languages: English, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, and Chinese. AI suggestions are generated in your chosen language. Support is primarily provided in Swedish and English.
What do I do if the app isn't working?
First try signing out and back in, or update to the latest version (App Store / Google Play). On the web, clear your cache or try a different browser. If the problem persists, email support@risknote.io with a description, which platform you're using, and ideally a screenshot. We respond within 2 business days.
AI transparency & privacy
AI content is labeled (EU AI Act Art. 50)
All AI-generated text in RiskNote is labeled both in the interface and in PDF reports. Each risk shows whether it's AI-generated or manually added. The AI model used is documented per analysis.
Data minimisation in AI prompts
We only send: the assessment's name, description, risk areas, plus organisation context (industry, size, role, goals, challenges). We never send personal data such as email, names, IP, billing data, or data from other accounts.
Human-in-the-loop (GDPR Art. 22)
AI suggestions are advisory. Each suggestion requires your active acceptance to be added to the risk register. No automated decisions with legal effect.
Right of withdrawal under EU consumer law
14-day right of withdrawal from the first paid period. Handled directly in the app with automatic proportional refund via Stripe (web subscriptions).
EU data residency
All customer data is stored in Stockholm on ISO 27001-certified infrastructure. No transfer to third countries.
Data access & erasure
As a data subject you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, objection, and data portability. Contact privacy@risknote.io. We respond within the statutory 30 days (usually within 2 business days).
