For consultants & advisors

Risk analysis you can bill for, in a day

Clients hire you for your judgment, not to format Excel. RiskNote gives you AI-driven risk suggestions, a 5x5 matrix ready for the client's board, and a PDF with your branding, so you spend time on what the client is actually paying for.

Built around how consultants actually work

Most risk, GDPR, and information-security consultants run 5–20 clients in parallel. Each one wants a risk assessment tailored to their industry, size, and regulatory context. In Excel that means starting from zero every time.

RiskNote lets you set the client's context once (industry, size, goals, challenges) and then use the AI analysis as a high-quality starting point for the register. Your expertise stays the deciding factor, but the tedious part goes away.

What RiskNote gives you as a consultant

  • Client tailoring in 30 seconds

Set the client's industry, role, size, goals, and challenges. The AI takes all of that into account when generating risk suggestions.

  • Your report, your brand

PDF exports with your logo and colours (planned V1.1). The client sees you as professional and premium, not as someone who did it in Excel.

  • Audit trail for reviewers

Every AI suggestion, manual edit, and status change is logged. When the client asks “how did you arrive at this?” you have the answer.

  • GDPR- and EU AI Act-compliant

AI labeling on all output (Art. 50), EU data residency, no PII sent to AI providers. You can point to it directly in proposals and quotes.

  • Sharing with the client without headaches

Send the client a link with view or editor access. No email attachments, no version drift.

A typical consulting engagement in RiskNote

  • 1. Create the client's organisation profile

Set industry, role, size, goals, and challenges. This drives the entire AI output downstream.

  • 2. Run the AI analysis as a starting point

Describe the risk domain (e.g. “supply chain for a mid-sized manufacturer”). The AI generates 5 relevant risk suggestions.

  • 3. Review, adjust, add

Your expertise comes in here. Accept or reject AI suggestions, add risks from your experience, adjust likelihood and consequence.

  • 4. Build the matrix and action plan

The 5x5 matrix updates live. Action suggestions and task delegation ship in V1.1 (June 2026).

  • 5. Export the PDF and invoice

Board-ready PDF report with matrix, register, and AI disclosure. Ready to send to the client.

Best value for consultants: the Pro plan

$12/month or $99/year. 80 AI analyses/month is enough for a consultant with 5–10 parallel client engagements. Unlimited risk assessments, share with one person per assessment, and full access to PDF reports.

Common questions from consultants

Can I keep multiple clients in one account?

Yes. Each risk assessment is separate and tagged with the client's context. On the Pro plan you get unlimited risk assessments. Multi-tenant workspaces (“consultant workspace”) are planned for V2.0.

What if the client wants to take over the register later?

You can grant the client view or editor access to a specific risk assessment. The client can also register their own account, and you can export data as PDF/CSV into their own system.

Are AI suggestions good enough for clients paying $200+/hour?

AI suggestions are a starting point, not a deliverable. They save 30–60 minutes of brainstorming per assessment. Your expertise, industry knowledge, and client context remain what the client is paying for. RiskNote is a tool that makes you faster, not a replacement for judgment.

Can I use RiskNote to produce a GDPR Art. 35 DPIA?

RiskNote fits well for the risk portion of a DPIA (likelihood and consequence per processing activity). A full DPIA template including necessity and proportionality assessment is planned as a free tool by Q3 2026.

How does billing work for me as a consultant?

You pay a monthly or annual subscription like any business. VAT-registered receipts. You can then bill the client for your time in RiskNote as part of your normal engagement.
